Overview

A Kid’s Place Drop In Child Care provides hourly and contracted childcare including a dedicated infant area, preschool classes, and before- and after-school care for elementary-aged children. Programs and classrooms

Infant Care — A small infant room is maintained separately from the rest of the facility, with a maximum of four infants and a 4:1 baby-to-adult ratio; a shoe-free policy applies to the infant room and a daily activity sheet is sent home after each visit.
2s Class — A preschool option for two-year-olds; the class meets on Thursday with two time choices in the morning.
3s Class — A preschool class that meets Monday through Wednesday in the morning for three-year-olds.

Policies, staff and daily routine

Staff are reported to hold required clearances and First Aid/CPR training. Daily activities include free and structured play, stories, music, exercise, arts and crafts, and a state-required quiet/rest period. Families are asked to pack snacks and lunches (meals are not provided), bring socks and any comfort or feeding items for infants, and to complete required forms and current immunization records before the first visit.
