Adler Park School

Overview

Adler Park is one of Libertyville Elementary District 70's neighborhood elementary schools. The school is identified by the district as the smallest of the district's elementary campuses, with an enrollment of about 225 students.

Programs and family involvement

Adler Park participates in district-wide instructional and inclusion initiatives. Families of enrolled students are automatically voting members of the school's Family Association and are involved in assemblies, festivals, and other school-wide events.

Operations and schedule notes

Adler Park follows district protocols for weather-related decisions and emergency procedures. In cases of inclement weather the district will either declare a Snow Day or hold classes remotely as an eLearning day; a decision is typically communicated by 6:00 a.m. Families are notified through the district's usual channels (automated calls, email, text, website and social media).

Under the district's two-hour Late Start Protocol, Adler Park classes start at 10:15 a.m. with drop-off from 9:45 to 10:05 a.m.; bus routes operate two hours later than normal and district-sponsored before-school activities are canceled.
