Adults & Children with Learning & Developmental Disabilities (ACLD) is a Long Island nonprofit that provides a continuum of supports for children and adults with autism, learning and developmental disabilities, including educational, residential, day habilitation, vocational, clinical and family support services.

Respite Counselors provide in-home temporary relief to primary caregivers; the service is funded by a Medicaid waiver and OPWDD grants and typically provides families with an allotment of respite hours each month.
Psychological and other evaluations conducted to identify suspected delays or disabilities and to establish eligibility for preschool special education or related itinerant clinical services.
Preschool special education services are provided for young children with developmental disabilities; educational and therapeutic supports are delivered during school hours by a multidisciplinary staff that includes special educators, speech/language pathologists, psychologists, a BCBA, occupational and physical therapists, nurses and behavior support personnel.
