Overview

Affectionately Devoted Academy — Frankford Avenue campus provides full-day early learning and childcare for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and pre-kindergarten children. The campus follows an age-appropriate program model for children from six weeks to five years and offers before/after care and summer camp options.

Approach and curriculum

The campus uses the Funshine Curriculum, a theme-based, play-focused programme that combines hands-on activities with structured lessons to develop early literacy, math, social-emotional skills and school readiness. Classrooms make regular use of learning centers such as dramatic play, music, library and STEAM to support cognitive, language and creative development.

Typical day elements include morning circle, learning-center activities, outdoor play, quiet/rest time and afternoon enrichment such as music and movement.
Programs incorporate sensory and hands-on projects (for example, science experiments and sensory activities) to build fine motor, language and problem-solving skills.
The curriculum includes take-home connections and daily activity updates to support family involvement in learning.
