Overview

Amazing Creations Preschool is a Christian preschool in Sunnyvale established in August 2000. The centre enrolls children from 18 months through approximately six years and presents itself as an all‑inclusive early childhood program.

Approach and curriculum

The curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia approach while incorporating academic concepts. Areas of emphasis include literacy (the site cites use of Zoo-Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears), STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) and social‑emotional learning. Enrollment and inclusion

Enrollment is on a first‑come, first‑served basis with priority for current students, their siblings, staff children and church members. The centre requests disclosure and documentation of any special needs prior to enrollment, will make reasonable modifications where possible, allows a parent‑funded one‑on‑one aide, and reserves the right to deny enrollment when a child’s care needs exceed what the centre can provide. The centre also accepts state funding for eligible families.
