The Associated Students Child Development Lab (ASCDL) is a licensed early education and teaching laboratory at CSU, Chico that provides care and early learning for children from infancy through age five and supports student practicum and employment opportunities.
The Associated Students Child Development Lab is a licensed early learning center and teaching laboratory that serves children aged approximately 2 months through 5 years. The Lab functions as both a childcare provider for student families and a practicum site for CSU, Chico students in the Child Development program.
The Lab operates in partnership with the university's Child Development Department, providing internships and supervised work experience for students. Parenting students at CSU, Chico are given enrollment priority.
Application materials are provided for an infant and toddler program serving young children; the Lab accepts children beginning at about 2 months of age.
