Overview

Auntie Jessie's Preschool/Childcare is a centre that serves infants through school‑age children. Infants

In the infant classroom, we follow a wonderful daily flow. No matter what your baby’s individual sleeping and eating schedule is, we always come together to make wonderful memories, enjoying story time, outside walks, learning circle, sensory exploration and creative art.

1-12 months

Pre-K1

In the Pre-K1 classroom, toddlers follow a daily schedule of group time, outdoor play, meals and snacks, naptime and playtime, with group activities that include books, songs and weekly themes about families, pets and the home.

2-3 years

Pre-K2

Pre-K2 children are encouraged to explore, socialize, and begin early academic skills such as counting and letter recognition through songs, art projects and simple science activities, with daily outdoor play and neighborhood walks.

3-4 years

Pre-K3

Pre-K3 focuses on social‑emotional growth, pre‑literacy and phonics, writing names, science projects, sensory activities and community experiences to prepare children for kindergarten.

4 years

School-age (before & after school care)

School‑age care includes before‑ and after‑school programs that offer a quiet homework space with assistance, arts and crafts, and a technology centre with electronics and instruments for exploration.
