Baldwin Elementary School

Overview

Baldwin Early Childhood Learning Center serves young children through a full‑day Pre‑Kindergarten program as part of the Pennsauken Public Schools district. The school publishes its own calendar of school days, early dismissals and special events.

Admissions and registration

Enrollment requires completing online pre‑enrollment forms and an in‑person appointment; only a parent or legal guardian may register a student. Families must provide required student paperwork and proofs of residency at registration.

Proofs of residency

The school requires a residency affidavit plus two proofs of residency. Acceptable documentation varies by circumstance and may include:

For property owners: tax bill, deed, mortgage or settlement papers (certificates of occupancy are not accepted)
For renters: signed lease (if applicable) plus notarized landlord forms and other proofs; certain notarized forms are required from owners/landlords
If living with another homeowner or renter: notarized residency affidavits and supporting proofs from the homeowner or renter, plus proof of ownership or notarized landlord forms where applicable

Student support and policies

Anti‑bullying guidance follows New Jersey’s Anti‑Bullying Bill of Rights and the district’s HIB procedures; the school refers families to district and state resources on harassment, intimidation and bullying. Special education classifications and IEPs are handled through the district Child Study Team and are required at registration when applicable.
