Bcmw Breese Head Start

Overview

Breese Center is one of the center‑based locations operated by BCMW Head Start/Early Head Start. The center is part of a program that serves children and families across Bond, Clinton, Marion, Washington and Franklin counties and offers comprehensive early childhood services under the Head Start model.

Approach and curriculum

The program uses research‑based curricula and frameworks to support school readiness for children aged three to five, including the Creative Curriculum and the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework. Assessment tools mentioned across the program include Teaching Strategies GOLD and classroom‑level learning tablets preloaded with research‑based early learning software for monitoring progress and planning instruction.

Family services and partnerships

Provides a range of individualized services in education and early childhood development, medical, dental and mental health, nutrition, and parent engagement.
