The City of Beverly Hills Preschool is a municipal preschool located on the Hawthorne Campus in Beverly Hills. It is housed alongside the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) District Office and other shared community facilities.
The Hawthorne Campus has served the Beverly Hills community for more than a century. On May 24, 2024 a final alumni ceremony marked the school’s closure as a neighborhood elementary school; the campus was subsequently repurposed to accommodate the BHUSD District Office, the City of Beverly Hills Preschool, and shared community spaces. The original school site was established on a tract at the corner of Elevado and Gwendolyn (later renamed Rexford Drive).
The preschool occupies space within a multi-use district campus and is part of the broader set of community and district facilities located at the Hawthorne site.
