Bright Scholars Clubhouse

Overview

Bright Scholars Clubhouse provides care for children from 6 weeks up to 6 years in a facility organised into three primary rooms: infant, toddler and preschool.

Classrooms and ages

Infants: Room capacity listed as 12; accepts infants ages 6 weeks to 23 months with activities separated for non-mobile and mobile infants and emphasis on exploration, reading, speech and gross motor development.
Toddlers: Classroom capacity listed as a maximum of 16; accepts children ages 24 months to 35 months with focus on transitions to a more structured routine, potty training, fine motor skills and language development.
Preschoolers: For children described as 3 – 6-year-old scholars; programming is oriented toward preparing children for kindergarten and expects children to be toilet trained while offering assistance where needed.

Staff and approach

Staff are presented as screened and focused on providing affectionate, patient and nurturing care aimed at supporting social, emotional and creative development. Daily scheduling and classroom routines are used to support developmentally appropriate skills for each age group.
