Overview

Brightest Stars Preschool in Sugar Grove, IL operates short-session preschool programs for children ages 2–5. Instruction is organized into an Early Preschool class for younger children and a Preschool/K‑Prep class for older preschoolers.

Programs and learning approach

Classes use weekly themes and multi-sensory activities. Children are grouped by age, class sizes are kept small, and the program balances child-directed and teacher-directed activities, whole-group and small-group work.

Early Preschool focuses on language, social/emotional development, self-help skills, independence and creativity.
Preschool/K‑Prep includes language and literacy activities, iPad activities, circle time songs, math games, daily journal writing and weekly vocabulary words; a Kindergarten Prep option is offered in the afternoon session.

Enrollment, schedule and fees

Programs run in three sessions across the year (Fall/Winter, Winter/Spring, Summer) and meet Monday–Friday in AM and PM sessions. Enrollment is managed through the KangarooTime app and requires standard forms such as a Certificate of Child Health Examination and a copy of the child’s birth certificate. Early Preschool requires a two-day-per-week minimum; Preschool and K‑Prep require a three-day-per-week minimum.

Daily rates and registration fees are charged per the program fee schedule; an annual registration fee is required at signup.
Discounts are offered for military, first responders and medical personnel, as well as referral and sibling discounts.
