Brightpoint–Marletta Darnall Schaumburg is part of Brightpoint’s network of child and family services across Illinois. Brightpoint delivers early learning, family support, mental health and child welfare programs through services based in homes, classrooms and community settings.

Programs and services

Early childhood care & education — partners with families to identify affordable, developmentally appropriate child care and early learning options.
Home visiting — in‑home coaching and support programs for expectant parents and families with young children, including Parents as Teachers (Early Start), Stronger Beginnings for Families, and Healthy Start, Healthy Families.
Doula and prenatal supports — prenatal outreach, in‑home coaching, labor and delivery support, and postpartum follow‑up; the doula program and related staff certifications are part of Brightpoint’s prenatal services.
Mental health & wellness — behavioral health services for children, youth and parents, offered as individual, family and group therapy and in some school settings.
Family support and child welfare — services that include emergency child care, extended family support, family visitation, court‑related child care and guidance for families navigating child welfare systems.

How services are delivered

Services are delivered through a mix of in‑home visits, group meetings, screenings and referrals to community resources. Some programs are offered at no cost to families and include regular play groups, family events and connections to medical, dental and mental health providers. Brightpoint operates programs statewide and works with partners such as health departments, schools and community agencies to make referrals and coordinate care.
