Overview

Cadence Academy Preschool, Main Street provides full‑day early education and childcare for children from infancy through elementary‑age. The centre offers classroom programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, Pre‑K and school‑age children and runs seasonal summer camp programming.

Programs

Infant Childcare (6 weeks – 14 months): Nurturing care that supports early developmental milestones through individualized routines and sensory activities.
Toddler Childcare (15 months – 23 months): Hands‑on, exploratory activities designed to build independence, language and motor skills.
Two‑Year‑Olds (2 – 3 years): Daily reports for routines plus play‑based learning to support emerging social and self‑help skills.
Preschool (3 – 5 years): Play‑based early learning with activities that introduce basic academic concepts and foster confidence.
School‑Age Program (5 – 12 years): Before‑ and after‑school care with organized and independent activities plus support for distance learning when needed.
Summer Camp (6 – 12 years): Seasonal programming with hands‑on activities and enrichment experiences for school‑age children.

Curriculum & family communication

The centre uses a specialized curriculum aimed at kindergarten readiness and maintains a Positive Behavior Support (PBS) program modeled on social‑emotional foundations for early learning. Staff communicate with families through scheduled parent‑teacher conferences, newsletters and ongoing e‑mail updates, and the school works with nearby elementary schools to align Pre‑K preparation with kindergarten entry expectations.
