Cadence Academy Preschool

Overview

Cadence Academy Preschool in North Aurora provides full-day early education and childcare for children from six weeks up to 12 years. Classrooms are presented as custom-designed learning environments intended to support age-appropriate development and school readiness.

Programs

Infant Childcare — Ages: 6 weeks – 14 months. A caregiving setting focused on individualized attention, sensory experiences, and routines that support early developmental milestones.
Toddler Childcare — Ages: 15 months – 23 months. A program intended to channel toddlers’ curiosity through guided play and hands-on activities that build independence and problem solving.
Two-Year-Olds — Ages: 2 – 3 years. Activities and self-directed play that encourage discovery and growing independence.
Preschool — Ages: 3 – 5 years. A hands-on preschool program with open-ended learning experiences aimed at building early academic and social skills.
School-Age Program — Ages: 5 – 12 years. Before- and after-school care with opportunities for homework help, recreation, and enrichment.
Summer Camp — Ages: 6 – 12 years. Seasonal program offering a range of activities and field trips for school-age children.

Enrichment and Social-Emotional Support

The centre implements Positive Behavior Support (PBS) to promote social and emotional development and to teach positive behaviours. Regular extracurricular offerings include a Tumble Bear activity day and a Kids Café hands-on cooking program.

Kids Café (cooking program) — Designed for ages 3 and up; delivered in weekly sessions over a 12-week cycle. Sessions are hands-on and emphasize teamwork, following directions, basic food preparation, and early math and literacy concepts; participants receive a take-home cooking kit.
