Community Bridges Eed Vista Verde Center

Overview

Vista Verde Child Development Center is one of six early education sites operated by Community Bridges’ Early Education Division. The center offers early childhood education and care for families in the Freedom area and is listed as part of the organization’s network of child development centers.

Approach & Curriculum

The program uses developmentally appropriate, play-based and bilingual approaches designed to support school readiness, literacy and numeracy, social-emotional skills, curiosity, and problem solving. The division describes its offerings as culturally and linguistically responsive and emphasizes positive guidance.

Staff, Safety & Facilities

Teaching staff maintain low teacher-to-child ratios and are described as interactive and engaged in children’s learning.
Staff qualifications include CPR and First Aid certification, health screening, TB testing, and fingerprint clearance as required by Community Care Licensing.
The Early Education Division is participating in an initiative to convert paved play areas into nature-based outdoor learning spaces (the "Blacktop to Bloom" project) to add shade, gardens and eco-friendly play features at several centers, including sites in Freedom.
Part-time and full-day care options are offered, and subsidized care is available for qualifying low-income families.
