Creative Beginnings

Overview

Creative Beginnings operates as a small preschool serving toddlers through pre-kindergarten age groups. The program includes regular classroom offerings, an extended literacy option for older preschoolers, occasional mini camps, and separate summer camp options for preschool and school-age children.

Programs and classroom focus

Preschool Jr's - Age 2 — A classroom designed as an introductory preschool experience for two-year-olds, with activities that promote early social skills and basic literacy and math through play. Children must be actively working on potty training before their first day and provide pull-ups in their backpacks; students must be two years old by September 1st.
Preschool - Age 3 — Focuses on social skill development and age-appropriate pre-academic activities such as letter and number recognition; students are encouraged but not required to be potty trained before entry.
Multi-age - Ages 3-5 — A mixed-age classroom for three- to five-year-olds with projects that address academic and social development; three-year-old students must be entering their second year of school or have permission by the director to enroll.
