Design 39 Campus Preschool (D39c)

Overview

Design39Campus is a public K–8 campus that includes preschool and Transitional Kindergarten. The campus serves more than 1,200 learners and emphasizes flexible indoor and outdoor learning environments designed to support project‑based and inquiry learning.

Approach and curriculum

Learning is organized around design thinking, learner agency, collaboration, inquiry, and a growth mindset. The campus integrates content across subjects and includes a district STEM sequence identified on the site (Project Lead The Way at K–5 and a Gateway/technology pathway for middle grades).

Campus and facilities

Multiple purpose-built learning spaces such as a Gallery presentation area, a Makery (fabrication/prototyping space), studio and collaboratory areas, and a Loft (library).
Indoor and outdoor spaces arranged for flexible, cross‑age and project work.
Onsite food service (servery) and campus supervision/security staff are listed among campus operations.

Support and family resources

The campus lists a range of student support teams (counseling, special education, occupational therapy and related services) and identifies a volunteer foundation that raises funds to support campus programs. The school also lists dedicated preschool and before/after care (BRIDGE) teams.
