District 7 Alternative School is Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7's alternative high school, serving students at the secondary level within the district's alternative program.
District 7 Alternative School is the district's designated alternative high school and is one of the 13 buildings operated by Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7. The district encompasses about 185 square miles and serves a mix of rural and suburban communities, including Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Hamel, Worden, Midway, Moro, Dorsey, and Prairietown. Historically, a smaller building in Worden was converted to serve as the district's Alternative High School after Worden joined the district in 1987.
