Overview

Arrowhead Elementary School is an elementary school serving students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The campus was opened in 1987, includes a multipurpose building for physical education and assemblies, and underwent a campus modernization in 2018.

Academics and Student Support

The school provides classroom instruction for K–6 students and offers specialized reading support through designated reading specialists to assist students with foundational reading skills.

Health, Safety and Attendance

A health office is maintained on campus and is staffed by a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
Children must present required immunization records or a valid exemption to attend.
Medication brought for students must be provided in original containers with appropriate labeling and a consent form; remaining medication must be collected at the end of the need or it will be disposed of according to district policy.
All classrooms on campus are designated nut-free to reduce risk for students with severe food allergies.

Meals and Nutrition

The school operates a K–8 breakfast and lunch program and participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Families may add funds to student meal accounts by cash, check, or an online payment portal. A federal meal assistance (free and reduced-price) application process is available each school year. The district also provides a process for special diet accommodations that requires documentation from a licensed physician and may take time to implement.
