Early Childhood Learning Academy

Overview

Early Childhood Learning Academy is a project-based preschool serving children ages 2 to 6. The program follows a Piaget-inspired approach that emphasizes hands-on exploration, social and emotional development, and developmentally appropriate activities. The school's leadership holds a master's-level degree and professional child-development permits.

Curriculum and Enrichment

The curriculum blends early literacy, early math, science, art, and music with daily outdoor play. Additional daily enrichment includes physical education and yoga; Spanish lessons are introduced at age 3. Learning is organized around weekly themes and project-based activities that connect classroom work to real experiences.

Meals

All meals and snacks are prepared in-house. Menus feature fresh fruits and vegetables, rice and pasta, quesadillas, and a rotating selection of familiar foods; the program includes a recurring "Pizza Friday."

Outdoor Space and Facilities

Outdoor time is scheduled each morning and afternoon. The playground includes a large play structure, multiple playhouses with a play kitchen, bikes and mini cars, water tables, a mud kitchen, and an on-site garden that children help tend.
