Overview

EastLake Children’s Center is a Christian early education program run by EastLake Church. The center enrolls children from age two through age six and includes preschool, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten programs. The program operates under a state child care license.

Curriculum and enrichment

The center’s curriculum addresses social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual development and incorporates STEAM activities, a multisensory language arts program (Zoo‑Phonics) and a structured physical education component (KID‑FIT). A weekly chapel time with music and Bible‑based lessons is part of the schedule, and a monthly Bible memory verse coordinates with weekly lessons. A Monday–Friday bilingual option is offered for Kinder Prep, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten groups.

What families should know

The center provides snacks and lunches and notes that meals and snacks do not contain peanuts or tree nuts.
Children who are not yet potty trained (diapers or pull‑ups) may be accepted in preschool; Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten require full toilet training.
Typical class sizes are given by age group in the center materials (for example, two‑year classes average about 10 students; three‑year classes average 12–15; Kinder Prep classes average 18–20; Transitional Kindergarten classes average about 12). Several staff members are fluent in both English and Spanish.
