Field Early Childhood Program

Overview

Field Early Childhood Program operates on the campus of Field Elementary School and provides preschool and early childhood education alongside the school's elementary grades. The school is part of the Pasadena Unified School District and lists certificated and classified staff that include preschool teachers.

Curriculum and instruction

The school offers a Mandarin Dual Language Immersion program that uses a 90/10 model for building literacy in Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) and English. Instructional programs and core curriculum are delivered by the school's certificated staff.

After-school and enrichment options are provided on campus, including LEARNS (academic support), Parks n' Recs activities, and iWant Chinese School.
