Overview

First Pres Preschool & Pre-K provides a Christian early‑childhood program that emphasizes learning through play and supports social, emotional and cognitive development. The school year runs from early September through late May and follows the local school district calendar for holidays and snow days.

Programs and schedules

Terrific Twos: half‑day classes for 2½‑year‑olds with morning meeting options.
Three Year Old Programs: multiple morning and afternoon options for three‑year‑old children.
Four Year Old Programs: morning and afternoon class options for four‑year‑old children.
Pre‑K: an afternoon Pre‑K program with an additional Friday morning session for children in the pre‑K age range.

Academic calendar, tuition and enrollment

Orientation for preschool classes is held the week of Labor Day. Tuition is billed monthly from October through May with the September payment due in June; there is a non‑refundable enrollment fee. The preschool posts separate curriculum and application documents for each class level.

Staff and approach

The preschool’s teaching team includes staff with backgrounds in early childhood and related areas. Instruction is delivered through play‑based activities and monthly Bible stories, with classroom activities that include art, music, games and hands‑on learning.
