Georgetown Alternative Program (GAP) is Georgetown ISD’s discipline alternative education program serving students in grades 6–12. The program educates students placed for violations of the Student Code of Conduct and emphasizes positive decision‑making, self‑discipline, social skills, character education and academic improvement.

Electronic devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, are prohibited on GAP property; exceptions are considered only for documented medical concerns. The campus enforces a strict dress code that includes plain black or gray crew‑neck shirts or polos, blue or black jeans without decorative features or holes, and closed‑toe athletic shoes; students are issued a sweatshirt to be kept at their desk. The program follows state requirements that limit student use of personal communication devices during the school day.
