Overview

Growing Friends Child Care and Preschool provides childcare and early education services for infants through elementary‑age children. Services cover ages from 6 weeks up to 6th grade and include full‑ and part‑time attendance options, hourly care for school‑age children, and a summer camp for preschool and school‑age participants.

Programs and classrooms

Preschool Program — Preschool classes for 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds; 3's and 4's have scheduled morning class times during the school year.
Infant Room — 6 weeks to 12 months.
One's Room — 12 months to 24 months.
Toddler Room — 18 months to 36 months.
Preschool Room — 3 and 4 year-olds.
Pre-K Classroom — 4½ and 5 year olds.
Kindergarten — kindergarten grade care.
Young School Age — 1st and 2nd grade.
Middle/Older School Age Room — 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade.
Summer Camp (Preschool–School Age) — seasonal program for preschool and school‑age children.

Activities and enrichment

The program schedules seasonal and holiday events and activities for enrolled children, including classroom parties, an Easter egg hunt, summer camp activities, Grandparents Day, teacher appreciation events, Halloween and Christmas programs, story time, an art show and other themed weeks and celebrations.
