Overview

Kids inc. at Natoma Station is presented as a year-round early childhood program that serves infants through school-age children. The location is one of three Kids Inc. schools in Folsom and is described as offering care and early education across multiple age groups.

Approach & Curriculum

The program uses a child-centered, play-based approach influenced by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and a Kindness Curriculum. Staff assess children's development through observation and documentation, collecting work samples and photographs to track progress.

Facilities & Family Services

Indoor classrooms and age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds designed for exploration and play.
Meals and snacks provided daily (AM snack, lunch, PM snack) with a weekly menu shared with families.
Transportation is provided for TK and school-age children to and from approved schools in the Folsom Cordova School District.
Supplementary services such as speech therapy are available through a partnered provider (NeuroKids) at the schools, in homes, and via telehealth.

Communication & Staff

Family communication is supported through a monthly newsletter and a parent communication app (Procare) for daily updates, pictures and incident reports.
Staff training and safety are highlighted: staff hold CPR and First Aid certification, and the program documents ongoing professional development and team-building activities.
