Overview

Kinderland Mesa is the original Kinderland location, established in 2005. The centre provides care for children from infancy through school age and offers before- and after-school services with transportation to and from local schools.

Approach and curriculum

Educational activities emphasise physical development, language and literacy, social and emotional development, and observational/science activities. The curriculum uses drama, music and hands-on discovery to support children's learning and preparation for kindergarten.

Family information and policies

Enrollment requires completed forms including an emergency & immunization record, parent agreement, and applicable transportation or infant-feeding forms.
Staff development and nutrition practices are supported through participation in external initiatives: all locations participate in the T.E.A.C.H. program to support teacher education, and the program participation described includes Empower Plus for nutrition and family-style dining.
Written parent agreements set behavioural and release policies, photo-consent procedures, billing and refund policies, and rules for transportation participation.
