Laurel Hill Campus is a San Francisco preschool campus in the ¡HolaKids! Spanish-immersion network that provides early childhood education in a Spanish-immersion environment.
Laurel Hill Campus is a neighborhood preschool campus that participates in a Spanish-immersion program for young children. The campus uses multiage classroom groupings and places emphasis on cultural education as part of its early childhood approach.
The program emphasizes full Spanish immersion, multiage classrooms, and semester-long study of a Spanish-speaking country to introduce cultural topics such as clothing, food, music, celebrations and family dynamics. Teachers regularly evaluate children's cognitive, language, social-emotional and motor development to guide instruction.
The campus includes large outdoor play spaces and features such as a garden patch, play court, sand play area, monkey bars, slides and swings. Its location offers access to nearby transit and park resources that are incorporated into field trip and neighborhood-based learning activities.
Free Community Drop-In Classes Sponsored by ¡HolaKids! Monday afternoons from 3:45 - 4:15 pm. The program is drop-in, meaning that parents (or guardians) must be present when their children are participating; there will be both teacher-led activities and free time involving age appropriate activities in art, music, dance and other activities for preschoolers.
SF Out & About For rising TK, K, 1st, 2nd Grade. This is a mobile program - every day, rain or shine. The students will be immersed in Spanish while exploring San Francisco.
