Overview

Launch Enrichment opened in Spring Grove in 2019 and expanded in 2023 to add an infant and toddler centre. The centre provides care for children ranging from six weeks through fifth grade across six classrooms named for space programs.

Curriculum and approach

Frog Street curricula are implemented for infants, toddlers, preschool and pre-K. Activities described for classrooms include circle time, guided small groups, learning centers, art and outdoor play. The toddler program integrates approaches to support social-emotional learning.

Rooms and daily routines

Gemini Room — infant care focused on individualized schedules and developmental activities such as reading, play and art.
Voyager Room — toddler care with a more structured day that includes meal times, group nap, outdoor exploration and art activities.
Apollo Room — 2K preschool program that emphasizes early literacy, foundational math concepts and STEAM integration.
Discovery Room — preschool program for three-year-olds featuring free play, morning circle time and learning centers, with a fresh fruit or vegetable snack.
Atlantis Classroom — pre-K for four- and five-year-olds with morning and afternoon circle time, small-group work, learning centers, recess and daily snacks and lunches.
Dragon Room — school-age care for elementary-aged children.

The centre publishes enrollment information, tuition and fees, a family handbook and a health and wellness policy to guide operations and family expectations.

Gemini Room

Infant and young toddler care that focuses on exploration through reading, play and art and uses Frog Street Infant curriculum; daily routines are planned around individual children's schedules.

6 weeks - up to 18 months · There is no "set" schedule in this room, but rather our caring staff plans the day based on the schedules of our individual children and adjusts as needed.

Voyager Room

Toddler program with a more structured daily routine that includes meals, a group nap, outdoor exploration and art, using the Frog Street Toddler curriculum and incorporating social-emotional learning strategies.

15 months - up to 30 months · Our toddlers have a busy day filled with a more structured schedule which includes meal times, group nap, outdoor exploration, art and numerous activities from Frog Street Toddlers.

Apollo Room

2K preschool program that emphasizes literacy development, early math concepts and STEAM integration, using Frog Street Threes curriculum.

Discovery Room

Preschool program for three-year-olds featuring free play, morning circle time and learning centers focused on foundational math and literacy skills, plus outdoor recess and snacks.

Atlantis Class

Pre-K classroom for four- and five-year-olds with morning and afternoon circle time, guided small groups, art, learning centers and outdoor recess; students receive daily snacks and lunches.
