Overview

Learn Together Grow Together Cdc Ii is a child development center serving infants through school-age children. Programming covers children from six weeks up to 12 years and includes seasonal offerings such as a summer camp.

Programs and ages

Ages 6 Weeks - 12 Years Old — care and early education across the infant, toddler, preschool and school-age range.

Meals

The center provides a light breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack on normal operating days. Breakfast is served 8:00 – 9:00 am and children must be present by 9:00 am to receive breakfast. Menus are posted on parent bulletin boards in each room and lunch menus are sent home monthly. Arrangements for special diets or food substitutions are made with the director for medical or religious needs. Outside food is not allowed during meal times.

Health and illness policy

Children who become ill while at the center are separated from the group and a parent or guardian is contacted to pick up the child; a cot is provided while waiting. Children must be picked up within one hour of notification. The center lists specific conditions requiring exclusion or return criteria, including fever of 101° F or higher, severe cold, vomiting, diarrhea, communicable rashes, impetigo, pink eye, bronchitis, strep throat, measles, chicken pox and head lice. A late pick-up fee applies if the child is not collected within the stated timeframe unless otherwise approved by the director.
