Lincoln Learning Center

Overview

Lincoln Learning Center is a licensed, accredited early education program located on the John C. Lincoln Medical Center campus. It serves children from 6 weeks through 12 years and provides daily meals as part of the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Curriculum and approach

The center uses the Creative Curriculum with age-appropriate activities aligned to early childhood standards developed by the Arizona Department of Education. The program also provides free annual developmental screenings to enrollees.

Facilities, health and safety

Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) since 1993 and recognized as a First Things First Quality Site.
On-site health supports include a full-time registered nurse and a part-time childcare health consultant.
Security measures include a locked, password-protected inner door separating the front office from the rest of the center.

Intergenerational activities involving seniors.
Healthy meals and snacks provided daily.
Limited scholarship and tuition assistance available.
