Little Angels Children'S Center

Overview

Little Angels Children’s Center provides early childhood care and preschool education for children aged 2 through 6. The program operates on weekdays and includes a daily schedule with indoor and outdoor learning periods and a scheduled rest/nap time.

Approach & Curriculum

The program uses a theme-based curriculum focused on five developmental areas: physical, emotional, cognitive, social and creative development. Classroom lesson plans are posted for parents and staff adapt activities to individual children’s needs. Daily group routines include circle time, classroom work periods, and both structured and free-play opportunities.

Meals, Rest & Health Policies

Two snacks are provided each day; families supply a homemade lunch for each child.
The center provides individual sleeping cots and sheets; parents supply a small blanket and are asked to take cot sheets home for laundering.
Enrollment requires completion of required state immunizations and submission of a physician's report; an admission packet and specified state forms must be returned before a child’s first day.
Diapers and pull-ups are accepted; a diaper/pull-up fee is noted on site.

Staff & Enrollment

Staff listings include a director with a bachelor’s degree and teachers with early childhood education experience or coursework. Enrollment requires a pre-enrollment visit and completion of registration forms; a non-refundable registration fee is required at application.
