Little Jewels Learning Center

Overview

Little Jewels Learning Center on Williamsburg Drive provides full‑day childcare and preschool services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school‑age children. The center is one of three Little Jewels locations in the Bloomington‑Normal area and offers a before‑and‑after‑school program for school‑age children.

Approach and programs

The program emphasizes early childhood development through play, hands‑on activities and group learning. Weekly music classes and gymnastics are offered as part of the program, and a sign language curriculum is available. Meals are served in classrooms for children starting at 15 months.

Facilities and safety

Secured entryways with electronic locks and visitor ID/escort procedures.
Classrooms identified by animal or creature names; each classroom includes a sink and toilet, exterior windows and interior viewing windows.
Indoor play space for large‑motor activities, outdoor play areas with a splash pad/sprinklers and a bike path, plus covered patios for shaded play.
All centers have multi‑use rooms that serve as gyms and can be rented for events; on‑site kitchen, restroom with tub/shower for emergency clean‑up, and in‑house laundry for linens.
All staff members are CPR and first aid certified.
