Little London Montessori

Overview

Little London Montessori provides Montessori-based early education for children aged 2½ to 5 in a mixed-age classroom setting. The school operates on a traditional academic calendar and accepts enrollments throughout the year.

Approach and curriculum

Instruction is grounded in the Montessori philosophy, using child-sized materials, mixed-age groupings, and uninterrupted work periods to promote independence, concentration, and practical skills.

Sensorial materials to refine perception of size, shape, texture, sound, and color
Concrete Montessori mathematics materials progressing toward abstract concepts
Phonetic-based language work progressing toward writing and reading
Cultural studies and creative activities including art, geography, music, and simple science
Guidance in social skills through grace and courtesy lessons

Enrollment, tuition and family information

Tours are required prior to enrollment; Discovery Day is offered as a morning visit (8:15–10:30 AM) to familiarize children with the classroom routine.
Registration requires a fee equal to half of the first month’s tuition, applied toward the first month.
Tuition invoices are emailed on the 15th of each month and are due on the 1st; a 10% late fee is applied to tuition received after the 3rd. Split tuition options are available.
Parents are responsible for providing a balanced lunch; morning and afternoon snacks and classroom materials are included in tuition.
Health and readiness policies include compliance with California immunization requirements, toilet independence, and the ability to attend class and function safely without assistance.
