Approach and assessment

Programming emphasizes language and literacy, social–emotional development, and relationship building. Children’s progress is tracked through ongoing observations and formal assessments (including use of the Creative Curriculum assessment tool), and parent–teacher conferences are held twice a year. Daily communication with families is maintained through the Brightwheel app, and translators are provided on request for family meetings.

Health, safety and daily care
