Love To Learn

Overview

Love to Learn Preschool provides preschool and daycare services for children ages 2 through 5. The program operates year-round with a new school year beginning in August and maintains multiple indoor classrooms connected by outdoor spaces.

Curriculum and approach

The program combines academic and developmental supports with a focus on social-emotional learning and independence. Academic components named by the program include Zoo-phonics, Ready to Advance, Number Corner, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, and Learning Without Tears. The curriculum also addresses social skills, self-regulation, self-care, motor skills, and independence.

Facilities and outdoor space

Campus composed of four separate buildings connected by multiple outdoor areas.
Outdoor learning and play features include grassy play areas, monkey bars, swings, climbing structures, a sandbox, a bike track, and multiple outdoor classroom spaces.
Indoor classrooms are shown with activity areas for dramatic play, reading, arts and crafts, and tray/center work.

Staff and policies

Teachers are described as trained in early childhood education, First Aid/CPR-certified, and live-scanned. The program maintains health and behavior policies that ask sick children to stay home until symptom-free for 24 hours and that, in some cases, a different environment may be suggested if a child does not thrive in the setting.
