Overview

Love To Learn provides year‑round preschool and daycare for children ages 2 through 5. The campus is described as multiple separate buildings linked by outdoor spaces and is located just off U.S. 101 at the Grand Avenue/Cal Poly exit in San Luis Obispo.

Approach and curriculum

The program combines academic and social‑emotional development with activities to build self‑regulation, self‑care, motor skills and independence. Named curriculum components include Zoo‑phonics, Ready to Advance, Number Corner, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness and Learning Without Tears.

Facilities and outdoor learning

The campus includes multiple classrooms and several outdoor play and learning areas such as playground equipment, a bike track, sand play areas and outdoor classroom spaces that support hands‑on and nature‑based activities.

Staff, communication and policies

Teachers are described as trained in early childhood education, First Aid/CPR‑certified, and live‑scanned.
Parent‑teacher communication is handled via Brightwheel; parents provide daily lunches and contribute a monthly healthy snack.
Health and behavior policies require symptomatic children to stay home until symptom‑free for 24 hours and note that alternative placements may be suggested if a child does not thrive in the setting.
