Maple Tree Academy

Overview

Maple Tree Academy provides Montessori-based early childhood education for children from six weeks up to six years. The program operates year-round with a 36-week school program and a 12-week summer program.

Approach and curriculum

The program follows the Montessori Method, emphasizing hands-on, activity-based learning, student-initiated work, flexible pacing and mixed-age groupings. Classrooms are equipped with multi-sensorial materials and practical-life activities to support development across several areas.

Toddlers — Ages 18- 36 months. Emphasis on emerging independence, language, motor skills and self-help through sensorial materials and practical-life tasks.
Primary — Ages 3-5 years old. Mixed-age community where children progress at their own pace with materials for math, language, geography and practical life.

Schedule options include half-day, full-day and before/after-school care.
