Overview

Maple Tree Learning Center operates a year‑round child care centre serving children from infancy through early teens. Care is offered on full‑ and part‑time bases and includes preschool and school‑age services, with programming for before/after school and vacation periods.

Curriculum and approach

The preschool program combines Montessori methods with targeted literacy and handwriting approaches, naming Heggerty phonemic awareness, Guided Phonics (Science of Reading), and Handwriting Without Tears as components used to support physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. The program emphasizes independent problem solving alongside social and emotional learning.
