Overview

Madison Camelview Elementary is a neighborhood public elementary school serving preschool through 4th grade with an enrollment of approximately 600 students. The campus hosts a STEAM signature program and participates in district-wide initiatives and recognitions.

Approach & curriculum

The school emphasizes STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) instruction, cooperative learning, differentiated instruction and data-driven planning. It uses PBIS CUBS expectations for behavior supports, includes coding instruction, and reports recognitions such as CS100 designation and a Project Lead the Way Distinguished School award.

District school bus transportation with student ID badges and use of the MyRide K-12 app for route information.
On-campus preschool and a MAC before-and-after school program, plus a variety of after-school activities provided by third-party vendors.
