Overview

Papillion Enrichment Center in North Aurora provides early learning and care for children from 6 weeks through kindergarten. The centre also offers school-age programs and a summer camp that accepts children up to 2nd grade. The organisation operates multiple family-owned locations.

Approach and curriculum

Instruction is child-centred and influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach. Daily routines combine hands-on exploration with planned learning in areas such as phonics, early mathematics, language and literacy, creative arts, music, and physical movement to support social and academic readiness.

Meals, staff and facilities

Meals are prepared in-house by a private chef using mostly organic, fresh ingredients; peanut and pork products are not served. Menus rotate weekly and include fresh fruit and vegetables. Leadership includes directors with formal education in early childhood and early intervention, supported by a team of qualified educators. Classrooms and spaces for extracurricular activities are part of the centre’s facilities.
