Overview

Parkway Hills Preschool Ministry offers care and developmentally appropriate Christian instruction for children from six weeks of age through kindergarten. Programming is presented as part of the church’s children’s ministry.

Approach and curriculum

The ministry uses age-appropriate, research-backed Bible studies (Bible Studies for Life) to present relatable lessons designed to support spiritual growth and discipleship. Classroom activities are described as developmentally appropriate and include Bible lessons, music, and crafts.

Family information

Families are asked to provide diapers, a change of clothes, and bottles or sippy cups when applicable; personal items should be labeled.
Snacks are provided in classrooms; the site lists typical snacks such as Gerber fruit/veggie puffs, Goldfish, crackers, cheese-its, Teddy Grahams, vanilla wafers, and cereal.
A Nursing Mothers Room is available in the preschool area and is equipped with rocking chairs, a sink, a changing table, and a live stream of services.
Parent/Child Dedication is observed three times a year as a milestone in a child’s faith journey.
