Overview

Desert Mirage Academy of Architecture & Design is a K–8 public school established in 1993 that serves roughly 750 scholars from preschool through eighth grade. Instruction emphasizes project-based learning with a specialized focus on architecture and design and alignment to state standards.

Approach and supports

Instruction is rooted in social-emotional growth and aligned with a Portrait of the Graduate framework. The school implements Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and provides academic and behavioral supports such as reading intervention, gifted education, digital preparatory classes, school counseling and psychological services, and coaching for classroom instruction.
