Pat Shephard Early Childhood Center is a Schaumburg Park District facility offering preschool and early childhood classes and hosting the Ken Alley Safety Park adjacent to the centre.
Pat Shephard Early Childhood Center began as a Community Recreation Center annex in 1992 to expand preschool programming and was renamed in 1994. The site houses early childhood and preschool activities and is associated with an on-site safety park used for educational programs.
Ken Alley Safety Park, located behind the early childhood center, is used for safety education and demonstrations.
