Skip-a-Long Child Dev Serv — Moline Campus is one of the Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers serving children from six weeks through school age. The center is part of SAL Community Services and provides full-day early care and education programs across multiple age groups.

Programs and ages served

Infant Care and Early Education — Full-day, full-time care for infants six weeks old to one year old, focusing on one-on-one interactions and early motor and sensory development.
Toddler Care and Education — Full-day, full-time care for toddlers one year to two years old, emphasising exploration, routines, and emerging self-feeding and motor skills.
Two-Year-Old Care and Education — Full-day, full-time care for children two to three years old with predictable routines, small-group learning, and early literacy and numeracy experiences.
Preschool Programs — Full-day, five-day preschool for children three to five years old, combining circle time, activity centers, small-group instruction and outdoor play to prepare children for kindergarten.
School-Age Programs — Options for children up to 12 years old including before- and after-school care, School Days Out care, and summer full-day programs with homework help and enrichment activities.

Curriculum, services and family supports

Centers use Conscious Discipline as a social-emotional framework and emphasize social skills, language and literacy, math and science, social studies and the arts.
Programs are delivered by licensed early childhood educators with low child-to-teacher ratios, and centers provide healthy meals and snacks.
