Overview

Skip-A-Long Milan provides early care and education for children six weeks through 12 years. The center serves infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children and lists a licensed capacity of 146.

Approach and curriculum

The center uses Creative Curriculum for developmentally appropriate, play-based learning and Teaching Strategies for ongoing, observation-based child assessment. Conscious Discipline is used as the classroom management approach to support social-emotional and self-regulation skills. Classrooms use digital documentation tools such as iPads and the site notes mental-health therapists are available on-site to support children and families.

Programs for infants, toddlers, two-year-olds, preschoolers and school-age children, including full-day preschool and participation in Preschool For All.
