Spark Montessori

Overview

Spark Montessori provides Montessori-based early childhood education for children beginning around 15 months through age six. The school also runs a summer camp program for children in kindergarten through third grade.

Approach and curriculum

The program emphasizes an authentic Montessori approach adapted for modern urban families, with an emphasis on sustained Montessori practice throughout the day, extended hours, and increased time outdoors and in nature. The school offers parent education and opportunities for family connection and collaboration between administration and teachers. Teaching staff include Montessori-trained guides (AMI and AMS credentials are represented among staff).
