St. Ambrose is a Catholic parish school serving students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Houston. The program emphasizes spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical development within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Curriculum and approach

The school’s core curriculum includes religion, mathematics, science, social studies, English language arts, and literature. Students rotate through ancillary classes such as technology, art, music, library and world language. Academic progress is monitored with NWEA MAP Growth testing administered three times per year. The school holds accreditation from the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department.
