St. Marks In The Valley Espiscopal Church Pre-Sch

Overview

St. Mark's in the Valley is an Episcopal church and preschool located in downtown Los Olivos. The congregation was formed in 1926 and has occupied its present Los Olivos location since 1979. The campus functions as a community, music and arts venue and includes an outdoor courtyard and a labyrinth that are available for rest, prayer and meditation.

Preschool and scheduling

The campus includes an on-site preschool. As noted in shared-space guidance, preschool classes occupy parts of the building on weekdays (no access to Stacy Hall or the play area during preschool classes, 8:30 am–2:15 pm on weekdays as scheduled).

Multiple meeting spaces including Stacy Hall and a Common Room with an accessible kitchen and guidance for shared use.
A churchyard memorial garden with a traditional lychgate and memorial plaques, completed in 1981.
On-site parking and accessible restrooms; the campus is used for community events, concerts and seasonal programs.

Music and events

The campus supports an active music and arts program with regular concerts and a range of musical ensembles. The church houses a pipe organ and a concert grand piano and is used for regular worship music, choral activities and visiting artists.
